  Desde os anos 70, o Brasil, inserido num movimento que abrange toda América Latina, conhece mudanzas profundas na percepção e na reelaborapao da sua identidade nacional. Maior nação "africana" do mundo depois da Nigéria, o Brasil redescobre as suas raízes africanas denegadas durante muito tempo. O artigo se propoe reconstituirás etapas desta longa marcha da "africanidad" brasileira desde a independencia até as medidas recentes e controvertidas de a?ao afirmativa.

• Abstract

  Since 70's, Brazil, inserted in a movement that endoses all Latin America, knows deep changes in the perception and the reelaboration of its national identity. The bigger "African" nation of the world afíer Nigéria, Brazil discovers its African roots, denied during much time. The article tries to reconstitute the stages of this long march of the Brazilian "africanidadc" since independence until the recent and controverted measures of affírmative action.
