• Resumen

  En este trabajo centramos nuestra observación en una unidad de producción del valle de Punilla, en la campaña cordobesa, con el objeto de estudiar la tierra como factor de producción y trabajo. Analizamos las distintas instancias de explotación, desde que fue otorgada en merced a fines del siglo XVI, vendida a diversos empresarios durante los siglos XVII y XVIII, transformada en capellanía lega a comienzos del siglo XIX; luego pasó a ser propiedad institucional hasta que, finalmente, a mediados del siglo XIX volvió a manos de particulares. En una primera perspectiva procuramos acercarnos a la lógica del comportamiento empresarial de los distintos propietarios. Además, tratamos de ampliar nuestra mirada hacia el contexto en que operaron, las circunstancias que condicionaron a sus administradores y el rol que desempeñó la unidad en la región.

• Abstract

  In this work we focus our observation on a production unit of the Punilla valley, in Córdoba countryside, with the aim of studying the land as a production and labor factor. We analyze the different exploitation instances, froni the moment it was granted at the end of the 16th century, then sold to different businessmen during the 17th and 18th centuries, transformed into a lega chaplaincy at the beginning of the 19th century and then turned into a convent property until ií finally, returns lo prívate hands in the middle of the 19th century. From a first perspecti ve, we try to approach to the logic of the business behavior of the different owners. In a second sight, we aim al widening our point of view towards the context in which the administrators operated, the circumstances that conditioned them and as far as it is possible, the role that the unit played in the región.
