LAS SUPUESTAS RELACIONES DE LA TRIPLE A

Resumen
La Argentina del período democrático de 1973 a 1976 se ha caracterizado por la presencia de la Alianza Anticomunista Argentina, o Triple A, grupo parapolicial responsable de la represión informal e ilegal ejercida contra militantes, intelectuales y simpatizantes de la izquierda. Esta organización integra la larga tradición represiva argentina con nuevos métodos derivados de la teoría de la guerra revolucionaria de inspiración francesa, difundida en el ambiente militar argentino desde la mitad de la década de 1950 y puesta en práctica por la Organización del Ejército Secreto (OAS) durante la guerra de Argelia. El objeto del artículo es indagar sobre las supuestas influencias y participación de redes europeas en su actuación, poniéndolos en comparación con los lugares comunes argentinos y la extensa cobertura de los medios sobre este tema. Esto se llevará a cabo a través del análisis de la acción y del discurso acerca de la Triple A y el estudio de dos organizaciones que fueron sospechadas de sostener relaciones con ella: la OAS francesa y la logia masónica italiana Propaganda Due.

The Argentine democratic period, lasting from 1973 to 1976, was characterized by the presence of the Argentine Anticommunist Alliance, or Triple A, a parapolice group responsible for the informal and illegal repression against communists and other left-wing militants, intellectuals and sympathizers. This organization integrates Argentine’s long repressive tradition with new methods originated from the French ‘Revolutionary War Doctrine’, which were used by the Organization of the Secret Army (OAS) during the war in Algeria, and which had spread in the Argentine military since the mid-1950s. The purpose of the article is to investigate the alleged influences on and participation in Triple A’s activity by European networks, by comparing them with the Argentine common sense and the extensive media coverage on the subject. This will be done by examining the action of and the discourse about the Triple A and the study of two organizations that were suspected of having ties with them, the French OAS and the Italian Masonic Lodge ‘Propaganda Due’.
